Meeting Location



Vesuvius Seen from Vico Equense

The conference will be held in the Castle in the town of Vico Equense, near the city of Sorrento in southern Italy. From this location one overlooks the Bay of Naples, with the Vesuvius volcano and the ruins of Pompeii in one direction and the island of Capri in the other. The town is about one hour away by rail, bus, or ferry from the city and airport of Naples.

Meeting Venue



Castello Giusso

The meeting will be held in the Giusso Castle located on a promontory above the bay. The castle was originally constructed in the 14th century and has recently been renovated to create a conference center. The main meeting hall can hold 170 people with smaller rooms for poster sessions, coffee breaks, and registration desk.
