The NATO ARW 13th European Workshop on White Dwarfs continues the long tradition since 1974 of international world-wide meetings to discuss and make the status-of-art on the research on White Dwarfs in a broad astrophysical context. The main topics are:

WD structure and evolution
SNIa progenitors
Hot subdwarf B stars
Variable WDs
WDs in binaries
Magnetic WDs
Atmospheres and chemical composition
Cool WDs
Astrometry and Surveys
Current and future space and ground-based observing facilities

A two days meeting of the Whole Earth Telescope, with a smaller number of attendees, will preceed the White Dwarf workshop.
